A Children’s Book

Just As It Is!

      by Janice Kenyatta

Self-love and self-image are everything! The love of others begins with the love of one’s self. If we can’t or don’t love any part of ourselves, we may hesitate to love others.

This book is a story of a little African American girl, Abena, meaning born on Tuesday. (See name chart) Her parents inspired her early in life to love and appreciate her natural features, including her hair, Just As It Is!……….AND to accept and appreciate those differences in others from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
